About
The Family
Hi, my name is Emma. I live in Budapest, Hungary with my 4 reptiles. I own 3 ball pythons, a normal female ball python, a banana male ball python and a lesser mojave leucistic male ball python. I also own a pinstripe male crested gecko. They will also have introductory stories so make sure you read those as well. (Down Below)
I made this website so people can read and learn about reptiles so they won't be scared of them. I will upload blogs and videos on how to handle them, what they eat and what their enclosures should look like. I will also upload a guide for the animals I know, as I don't want to give out false information about their keeping.
(All information will be based upon what I have read online, tried and experienced.)
Ball Pythons
General Info
Generally ball pythons live up to 30 years in captivity, so make sure you know what you are getting into before going out and buying one. They are are nonvenemouse, making them a great pet to keep at home. Females tend to grow bigger than males, as they need space to store the eggs.
Their name Ball Python comes from their natural instinct to curl up into a ball whenever they feel threatened or scared.

Queen
Normal Female Ball Python
Name: Queen
Born: 2016 August
Personality: Lazy, likes to explore during the night
She is the first snake I had. I got her from my cousin who breeds snakes and is a vet for exotic animals.Â
I chose this name for her as she is a King Python (another name for their kind) and a female.

Joker
Banana Male Ball Python
Name: Joker
Born: 2018 July
Personality: Curious, likes to explore, very active
She is the second snake I got. She is also from my cousin. Her name came from, how funny her colouring is. I originally wanted to name her Clown, but Joker suited her better (In my opinion).

Lucifer
Lesser Mojave Blue Eyed Leucistic Male Ball Python
Name: Lucifer
Born: 2017 April
Personality: Lazy, sleeps all day and night
She is the third snake I got. I got her from a breeder here in Hungary. She is very sensitive still, and dislikes sudden movements.Â
Leucistic snakes are usually named Lucy, so I thought about keeping tradicion, but for boys.
